What We Do

We offer non-clinical, youth-centered support that meets young people where they are and responds to what they actually need in real life. This work exists outside of therapy and clinical care, focusing instead on practical support, skill-building, and navigating everyday challenges.

Our work is grounded in care, connection, and community, and shows up through three core areas: support, advocacy, and community. Whether we’re building practical skills, helping navigate systems, or creating spaces for connection, we walk alongside youth as they build confidence, face challenges, and feel less alone.

TWOC does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment of mental health conditions, or crisis services, and is not a substitute for medical or clinical care.

Services below are examples of how this support can look, but not a complete list. If you don’t see what you need, we still encourage you to reach out. We’re always open to exploring how we can support you or connecting you with the right resources.

When TWOC May Not Be the Right Fit

TWOC provides non-clinical, skill-based support rooted in real conversation, practical tools, and navigating everyday life. This work can be meaningful and supportive, but it is not the right fit for every situation or level of need. This space is not about diagnosing or treating you. It’s about helping you make sense of what’s coming up, build skills, and move through your life, relationships, and the systems around you with more clarity and intention. TWOC does not provide crisis intervention, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment of mental health conditions, and is not a substitute for medical or clinical care.

TWOC may not be the right fit if you are:

  • In immediate distress or experiencing a mental health crisis

  • Looking for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical assessment

  • In need of ongoing therapeutic or medical care

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact local emergency services or a crisis resource that feels safe and appropriate for your needs. Different crisis services operate under different policies, including whether they may initiate emergency intervention without consent.

If your needs fall outside the scope of non-clinical support, we will talk through next steps and, when possible, help connect you with more appropriate resources. TWOC reserves the right to determine whether services are appropriate and may decline or discontinue services if needs fall outside this scope.
